What you will be able to decide
Turn an AI idea into a bounded engineering brief before choosing an algorithm or generating a dataset.
- Before you start
- Bring one recurring engineering decision and the inputs that are genuinely available when that decision is made.
- Example you will work through
- For a conduction-loss example, name the required answer, the I²R reference, the allowed error and the cases that require more evidence instead of a prediction.
- Small check
- A complete brief states the decision, inputs, target, simple baseline, evaluation condition and refusal boundary.
- Evidence boundary
- Writing a brief does not qualify a model. It prevents the later experiment from silently changing the question or claiming authority it has not earned.
